NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Jarace Walker (IND) Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-108)

We think it’s safe to say this season has been a disaster for the Pacers who sit 15-40 and opening up their post all-star schedule at Washington tonight.

Pascal Siakam is set to miss tonight’s action with T.J. McConnell and Aaron Nesmith also heading in questionable for the Pacers.

Enter Jarace Walker who has been a bright spot as of late for Indiana averaging 23.4 points + rebounds in five February games.

We’ll take him to go over 23.5 points + rebounds tonight as it’s worth noting that Wizards big man Alex Sarr will also miss tonight’s game which will open up more scoring opportunities for Walker inside.

Sure, Walker is only averaging 40% from the field this season but in his last five he’s averaging 48% shooting on 13.5 shot attempts in 29 minutes per game.

On the season Washington sits 29th in defensive efficiency and 28th in rebounding rate while running at the sixth fastest pace in the league so Walker should get more than a fair share of scoring and rebounding opportunities.

Across their last five games before the all-star break the Wizards allowed an average of 129 points per game and although Walker is technically a small forward, he’ll likely be slotted in as the starting power forward tonight.

With Washington giving up the second most points per game and fifth most rebounds per game to power forwards this season, let’s take Walker to carry over his success before the all-star break going over 23.5 points + rebounds in Washington tonight.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Wendell Carter Jr. (ORL) Over 6.5 Rebounds (-150)

Sacramento likely wishes they could have just ended the season at the all-star break opening up the second half on a 14-game losing streak and ruling out both Zach Levine and Domantas Sabonis for the season as well.

This should open up plenty of rebounding opportunities specifically for Wendell Carter Jr. who has averaged eight rebounds per game over his last five.

We’ll take him to go over 6.5 rebounds tonight against a Kings team that has allowed the fifth most rebounds per game to centers this season.

Sacramento also ranks 27th in rebounding rate on the season and have just allowed high rebounding totals to centers before the break including Jusuf Nurkic (9), Jarrett Allen (10), and Neemias Queta (15).

With Sacramento also sitting 28th in offensive efficiency let’s go with the Orlando big man to get over 6.5 rebounds tonight.

The only thing we’d have to worry about in this situation is the blowout factor, but we figure Carter Jr. will have to be involved in that ripping down rebounds on the defensive end.
