College Basketball Props Best Bet #1: Darius Acuff Jr., Arkansas Over 23.5 Points (-115)

The first and third fastest paced teams in the SEC go at it tonight as Arkansas plays at Alabama with both teams looking to build on recent winning streaks.

Freshman Darius Acuff Jr. has taken the SEC by storm as we’ll look for him to go over 23.5 points tonight. He has been on a tear lately averaging 26.2 points per game over his last four including a 31-point effort in their last game against Auburn on Saturday.

He’s been the engine for Arkansas who still has a shot at winning the regular season SEC Championship, but they’ll need to keep pace with Florida with a road win tonight.

Given Acuff Jr. has attempted 18 field goal attempts per game across his last five he shouldn’t have a problem getting to 24 points as he has also shot 51% across the last five as well while going 19-24 from the free throw line as well.

It’s worth noting that Alabama gives up a lot of free throws ranking 323 of 365 total D-I teams in personal fouls per game.

With the total of this game now sitting around 184-185 we firmly believe Acuff Jr. will be responsible for many of those points so let’s go with the star freshman to go up and over 23.5 points in their showdown with Alabama in Tuscaloosa tonight.

College Basketball Props Best Bet #2: Graham Ike, Gonzaga Over 30.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)

Senior Forward Graham Ike missed the Bulldogs first game against the San Francisco Dons, but over his past five games since that one he’s averaged 34.5 points + rebounds as we’ll look for him to go over 30.5 points + rebounds tonight.

Gonzaga was actually out rebounded by San Francisco without Ike 41-37 in their 68-66 win, but we can assure that won’t happen again tonight with season profiles looking a little different. Gonzaga sits 13th among all D-I teams in rebounds per game with San Francisco coming in 110th.

Ike shoots 58% on the season but that number has actually gotten better as of late shooting 64% across his last five games with the Bulldogs ranking 2nd nationally in percentage of points coming from inside the arch on the season.

Ike does most of his damage in the paint with the Dons allowing 52% of total points in conference play inside the arch which ranks 3rd most of 12 teams.

It’s also worth noting that San Francisco does not create turnovers on defense ranking dead last in turnover percentage, steal percentage and non-steal turnover percentage so there will be very minimal trips down the court where Gonzaga doesn’t get a shot off at the very least.

The Dons also allow the least amount of three-point attempts per game in WCC play so let’s take Ike to be a force down low for the Bulldogs once again on both sides of the court going over 30.5 points + rebounds against San Francisco tonight.
