College Basketball Props Best Bet #1: Duke Brennan (VIL) Over 10.5 Rebounds (-130)

There should be ample rebounding opportunities for Villanova big man Duke Brennan in their game tonight at Xavier.

He has averaged 10.8 rebounds per game across the last six games as we’ll look for him to go over 10.5 rebounds tonight.

Although Villanova runs at a slow pace, that will be tested tonight against a Musketeers team that ranks first in Big East play in tempo which should equate to more possessions across the board.

With more possessions equals more misses with and Xavier ranks 282 of 365 Division I in two-point field goal percentage and allow the 23rd most opponent rebounds per game of 365 teams (38.4 per game).

Brennan ranks 16th among all players in offensive rebounding percentage and 43rd in defensive rebounding percentage and with the senior notching over 10.5 rebounds in his last three road games, let’s take him to do it once again tonight at Xavier.

College Basketball Props Best Bet #2: Otega Oweh (UK) Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)

Senior Otega Oweh and Kentucky look to bounce back tonight at home against Georgia after dropping their game on Saturday to Florida 92-83.

Oweh had just 18 points + rebounds in that game but in the five games before that he averaged 26.6 points + rebounds per game.

Although Kentucky ranks 11th out of 16 SEC teams in adjusted tempo during conference play, Georgia ranks sixth and are also dead last in conference play in allowing offensive rebounds.

In fact, Georgia ranks 347 out of 365 teams in allowing opponent rebounds and 364 of 365 in allowing offensive rebounds.

Georgia also ranks 13th in SEC play in two-point field goal percentage allowed where Oweh does most of his damage.

It’s worth noting that Oweh shoots 8% better from the field in home games this season and 13.6% higher at the free throw line compared to road games.

The last time Kentucky lost a game before Florida was at Vanderbilt and Oweh bounced back with a 24 point, eight rebound performance at Arkansas in a 85-77 win. Look for Oweh to lead the Wildcats in a bounce back effort tonight going over 25.5 points + rebounds.
