2023: Tua Tagovailoa Miami 4,624 yards
2022: Patrick Mahomes Kansas City 5,250 yards
2021: Tom Brady Tampa Bay 5,316 yards
2020: Deshaun Watson Houston 4.823 yards

2025 NFL Most Passing Yards Prediction: Dak Prescott, Cowboys (+850)
No surprise, Joe Burrow is the favorite to record the most passing yards in 2025 as he is in most categories involving quarterbacks and we backed him to win the MVP at +650 odds.
However, there is one player that I could see giving him a run for his money in this category with better value in Dak Prescott (+850).
When Prescott is healthy, he’s a shoe in for 4,000+ passing yards as he posted 4,516 yards across 17 games in 2023, 4,449 yards across 16 games in 2021 and 4,902 yards across 16 games in 2019.
The addition of wide receiver George Pickens gives Prescott another weapon and it allows CeeDee Lamb to stick to the slot where he’s most effective.
Brian Schottenheimer taking over as head coach for Mike McCarthy should lead to a more pass-heavy offense as Prescott 3rd in passing yards in 2023 (Schottenheimer’s 1st season as Dallas OC).
Only the Carolina Panthers allowed more points than the 27.5 per game that Dallas allowed in 2024. The defense doesn’t look stronger on paper and now the Cowboys are dealing with a Micah Parsons trade request.
Dallas ranked 27th in rushing yards with less than 100 per game during the 2024 campaign. The new backfield tandem of Miles Sanders & Javonte Williams really struggled last season and 5th-round draft pick Jaydon Blue is already banged up.
This is the perfect storm if Prescott stays upright as the Cowboys will see tons of pass-heavy game scripts
2025 Most Passing Yards Sleeper Prediction: Geno Smith, Raiders (+3000)
Geno Smith is an underrated quarterback who quietly finished 4th in passing yards during the 2024 campaign with 4,320 yards.
The Las Vegas Raiders liked what they saw as the traded for Smith while reuniting him with his old coach in Pete Carroll.
Chip Kelly is the new offensive coordinator in Vegas, and his fast-paced passing attack should keep Smith busy.
The Raiders also added weapons through the draft in RB Ashton Jeanty & WR Jack Bech and they already had two strong receiving threats in Brock Bowers & Jakobi Meyers.
The key to this play is the fact that Geno Smith will be playing 12/17 regular season indoors where he’s thrived throughout his career.
In 14 indoor games as the Seahawks starting quarterback, Smith tossed 30 touchdowns with just 5 interceptions and an elite 110.8 passer rater.
He even led the NFL for indoor completion percentage during the 2023 campaign and 2 of his 5 outdoor games will be played in the first three weeks of the regular season (NE & WAS) when the conditions are much more favorable.
We have seen Smith throw for 3,600+ passing yards in three straight seasons and he will be leading the way for a high-powered offense that needs to throw ball to keep up with their divisional rivals.
