MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Vinnie Pasquantino, Royals OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-120)

Vinny Pasquantino hit his 11th home run of the 2025 campaign last night and he’s logged 2+ HRR in 10 of his last 15 games.

Now he travels to Petco Park, and he’s covered this HRR line in 58% of his road games compared to only 47% of his games at the pitcher-friendly Kauffman Stadium.

“Pasquatch” has also thrived in a short sample size against Padres starting pitcher Nick Pivetta, going 3-5 with two doubles.

Pivetta is having a very successful season, but Pasquantino has crushed right-handed pitching in general, with a .292 batting average compared to a .200 batting average against lefties. His power numbers have also come against righties as he’s hit 10 of his 11 home runs against them.

Pasquantino beat up on the Padres at home during the 2024 campaign, going 6-13 (.462) with two doubles across a three-game series. Let’s back the left-handed clean-up slugger to continue his torrid pace on the road on Friday night.

MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Xander Bogaerts, Padres OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115)

Xander Bogaerts has really struggled this season, but he has cleared this HRR line 4 of his last 5 games and he’s coming off a monster game against the Los Angeles Dodgers where he went a perfect 4-4 at the plate with a home run, a double and three runs scored.

Bogaerts is also a perfect 4-4 (2B) lifetime against Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Michael Lorenzen. Lorenzen has a season ERA approaching 5.00 and he’s been even worse in June where he posted a 7.36 ERA across 14.2 innings pitched (3 starts).

The 33-year-old hurler has also struggled away from home where he owns a 5.94 ERA and .275 OBA. Bogaerts has been better to this line at Petco Park where he’s recorded 2+ HRR in 52% of his games compared to only 40% of his road games.

I watched last night’s Padres game and Bogaerts lock in while falling just a triple short of hitting for the cycle. He needed a game like that, and I fully expect him to continue his success against Lorenzen.
