THE PLAY: Total Over 7.5 (-108) C Sale (LHP), E Hancock (RHP) Must Start

These teams have both been on ‘under’ streaks but that should change this afternoon. Sale has a 5.11 ERA in two road starts. Hancock has a 5.06 ERA overall. While Hancock has been sharp recently, he's now facing one of the top offenses in baseball. Don't be surprised when the bats come alive and this one finishes above the low total. 

THE PLAY: Total Under 208.0 (-110)

I won with the ‘over’ in Minnesota's last game but this one figures to be much lower-scoring. Both teams come in well-rested. The T-Wolves last played on 4/28 while the Nuggets closed out the Lakers on 4/29. Both have shown a tendency to play low-scoring games, when playing with extra rest in between games. Minnesota has seen the ‘under’ go 4-1 when playing with three or more days rest. The T-Wolves allowed just 99.7 points in those games. Likewise, Denver also saw the ‘under’ go 4-1 when playing with three or more days rest. When these teams met in the playoffs last year, the first game stayed below the total by 35 points. This should result in another relatively low-scoring affair.
