THE PLAY: Wizards over 34.5 wins (-105)
Trae Young has stated that he’s never had a teammate who could consistently draw double teams, yet every team he’s played for has still won at least 35 games. Now, he gets to play alongside Anthony Davis and No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa, giving him a level of talent and offensive support he hasn’t had before.
Trae and AD complement each other extremely well. Trae’s playmaking and ability to create open looks should pair perfectly with Davis’s interior scoring, defensive presence, and ability to dominate on both ends of the floor. Add in Dybantsa and a solid supporting cast, and there’s plenty of reason to believe this team can exceed expectations.
Health is the obvious concern, but I believe they stay on the floor enough to make this roster competitive. With the fourth easiest schedule working in their favor, the opportunity is there to capitalize.
I’m backing the Over 34.5 wins. Trae has already shown he can lead teams to 35 or more wins without this level of talent around him. With Davis and Dybantsa now in the picture, this number is well within reach if they can stay reasonably healthy.

Consultant Bio
My name is Hakeem Profit, and I have followed the NBA since the 90s, but I have been betting professionally for 6+ years. The game continues to change, but one thing remains the same. In an 82-game season, it is extremely difficult to get up for every game. We work to identify the situations/spots that give one team an advantage or disadvantage and live with the results of making a good bet. Personally, the NBA is the easiest for me to identify edges. As a result, last season was the first year I gave volume betting a shot, and it was a success! When you have an edge in a game, you bet it! One thing I've started doing is creating my own line similar to a -1 in baseball or hockey, which allows me to better take advantage of situations based on implied probability. Last season, after a dreadful first two weeks (being too aggressive too early without data), I gained 92.17 units on 902 NBA plays for an overall gain of about 45 units. This season, we will clean up the start of the year and look forward to an even more profitable 2022-23 NBA season!
*An NBA play will not change unless the line move is 3 points or more
