Portland were really effective in their home match against Atletico San Luis and they scored 4 goals from 4 shots, with all 4 of them on target and being converted to goals. They did allow a lot of shots but kept a clean sheet. Really good effort from Portland, and that +4 goal difference is really good for them as they are now sitting 2nd in the MLS group, behind only Seattle who dropped 7 on Cruz Azul. Portland have a tough match on Match Day 3 against Club America who, logically speaking, will be looking for points as they lost their first match, so Portland absolutely need to beat a seemingly indifferent Queretaro side on Sunday.
Queretaro lost to Minnesota by 4-1 and are already in the depths of the Liga MX group with zero points and a -3 goal difference. Logically speaking, they can't make a push for the top-4 spots, they've been really bad on the road in 2025 (W2 D1 L8), and those two wins came against Juarez (in a match where Juarez saw an early red card) and Santos Laguna (who were by FAR the worst team in the Clausura).
Portland have a golden opportunity to keep the ball rolling and get another win here, and if they can win by multiple goals they would make a huge step towards qualifying. Queretaro didn't seem dangerous enough to threaten Portland here, they've been bad on the road and I expect their bad away form to come into effect once again. Portland should be able to win this, the question is by how much? Portland -1 looks like a Free Hit here.

Pavlos betting on European sports when he was in High School, back when most people his age didn't even know how to bet. After acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in International Economic Relationships and development from the Democritus University in Greece, Pavlos took a different path.
Things really took off for him in 2014 when he officially started writing predictions for US-based sites. Things picked up pretty quickly, and he has produced thousands upon thousands of match previous and predictions. He tends to venture off the beaten path, looking for hidden gems in a myriad of games you can bet on.
Single and double bets aside, Pavlos likes to play the odds as well. While some days there are safe single bets, there are other days that provide opportunities for different bets. Bets like Correct Scores, amount of Yellow Cards, Half-Time/Full-Time results, and all kinds of prop bets. Pavlos covers the following leagues: Major League Soccer (MLS), Copa America, EURO Cup, English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, Champions League, and Europa League.
