      Hojgaard skipped last week at the 3M Open after back-to-back strong starts across the pond finishing T4 at the Scottish and T14 at The Open after coming off a solid T24 finish at the Rocket Classic.

      He had some struggles through the summer from March thru early June but took some time off after the PGA Championship playing just one event until the Rocket Classic which started his current form.

      He was struggling mightily with his irons losing strokes in five of eight starts, two of them basically just even with the field average and only one in which he gained notable strokes.

      However, in those three recent starts since, gaining nearly 12 total strokes, or basically an average of +1.0 per round, plus his putter has gotten red hot as well.  His driver has been consistently strong as he hits it a ton and has lost strokes just once over his last nine starts.

      So long as he keeps his irons hot, he will contend again this week.

      Consultant Bio

      Borrman has been around golf his entire life and eventually found his career working in the golf business as a Class A PGA Professional.  Borrman has taught golf to all levels for the last 20 years and uses his vast knowledge of the game of golf and applies it to PGA Tour picks.  Borrman also carved out a name for himself, betting on soccer.  He was an original writer on podbet.com, posting detailed write-ups of his picks and he has been actively giving out free picks and analysis on soccer matches for several years through his Twitter handle @Borrman00.

      Currently, Borrman covers Soccer and Golf on a regular basis.  Soccer is year-round with weekly picks in the Premier League, Champions League, as well as MLS.  Golf is also year-round with weekly tournaments as Borrman releases Outright, Leaderboard and/or Matchup selections for each PGA Tour event.
