Real Madrid are HUGE -350 favourites in this match, with the Draw at +500 and Al Hilal are +880 underdogs, with the Asian Spread set at 1.75 Goals and the Asian Total set at 3.5

Real Madrid are the big favourites to win the group at -600, Al Hilal are +800, Salzburg are +900 and Pachuca are +2200

To qualify from this group, Real Madrid are -3500 to qualify from this group, Al Hilal are +110, Salzburg are +120 and Pachuca are +330.

Right off the bat, I know that this is a new-look Real Madrid full of stars but these odds are out of this world. Do the books know that Al Hilal could’ve easily been a mid-top tier Champions League side with all those players? Bono at the goalkeeper, a very experienced player that has won a bunch of Europa Leagues with Sevilla, Joao Cancelo and Renan Lodi as the two wing backs, Koulibaly at center back, probably the two best Serbian players in Milinkovic Savic and Mitrovic, this is a good side that can do stuff in this tournament. Plus, they just added Simone Inzaghi as their coach, who is a HUGE upgrade.

Real Madrid might need some time to digest the new coach and his playstyle, they are coming here with several injuries to key players, especially at the defense where they are still missing Rudiger, Militao, Carvajal, Alaba and Mendy, basically their entire starting backline, although they did get Huijsen and Alexander Arnold who are projected to start.

That -350 on Real Madrid feels way off, and Al Hilal have a ton of talent that can definitely hurt Real Madrid here. I am looking to fade Real Madrid here and take Al Hilai +1.75 -112, that’s a split line between Al Hilal +1.5 and Al Hilal +2, basically buying 3 ways to get paid and one way to return half my stake. This bet wins if Al Hilal win, if it’s a Draw, and even if Al Hilal lose by exactly 1 goal, while half this bet is lost and half is returned if they lose by exactly 2 goals. We lose the entire stake if Real Madrid win by 3 goals or more, which is not impossible, I just think these odds are completely wrong here.

Pavlos betting on European sports when he was in High School, back when most people his age didn't even know how to bet. After acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in International Economic Relationships and development from the Democritus University in Greece, Pavlos took a different path.
