Expert WNBA Playoffs Player Props for Friday: NaLyssa Smith, Aces OVER 12.5 Points + Rebounds (-112)

NaLyssa Smith bounced back strong in Game 2 with a 25 PR effort across 30 minutes after landing on just 6 PR across 15 minutes in Game 1.

Minutes have fluctuated for Smith, but head coach Becky Hammon said she needed her on the court for Game 2 despite Smith picking up her 4th foul in the 3rd quarter.

The Aces are only favored by -4.5 points so we should see a competitive game leading to full minutes. This is also a bit a revenge/motivational spot as Smith plays against the Fever team that drafted her back in 2022.

Expert WNBA Playoffs Player Props for Friday: Alyssa Thomas, Mercury OVER 23.5 Points + Assists (-118)

Alyssa Thomas has covered this line in three straight games including each of her first two games of this series against the Minnesota Lynx where she logged 32 & 25 PA across 43 & 37 minutes.

The Phoenix Mercury are coming off 20-point comeback victory over Minnesota and now they look to protect home court advantage where their shooters are much more comfortable.

Thomas has performed better at home where she has cleared this PA line in 14/21 games while averaging 25.3 PA per game.

Dating back to the beginning of the 2024, AT has beat this number in 8/12 head-to-head games against the Lynx including 3/4 games this season while averaging 28 PA per game.

Thomas has logged a 24% usage rate in 4/5 playoff games and when she’s seen a 22%+ rate she’s averaging 26.1 PA per game.

Kahleah Cooper injured her ankle during the 2nd half of Game 2. Cooper isn’t listed on the injury report but if she is limited, AT should see an even larger role.
