Aston Villa vs Brighton | Sunday May 28 | 11:30am ET

Aston Villa +115 | Brighton +205 | Draw +285

Aston Villa vs Brighton Premier League data

Brighton look assured of their first ever European spot for next season in what’s been an absolutely terrific first year in charge of the club for Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi.

De Zerbi took charge of the Seagulls back in September of last year and obviously took his Sassuolo free-flowing attacking football with him as only Manchester City have a higher offensive xG/90 minutes this season than Brighton do.

They face an Aston Villa side in this one that looked on track for a European spot themselves just a few short weeks ago, before a recent return of just one win from their last four games overall effectively put those hopes to bed.

However, manager Unai Emery who is also in his first year in charge of the club, will no doubt want to finish the season strong regardless given the rapid improvement Aston Villa have undergone since he took over.

The Villains were languishing near the bottom of the table when the multi-cup winning Spanish coach took charge back at the start of November, tied for the league’s worst road record overall as well.

However, since then Villa have been on fire, with only Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City generating more total wins than Aston Villa have managed across that timespan.

That said, Brighton have been in phenomenal form pretty much all season and rank top five in the league in not only offensive xG away from home this season (2nd), but also defensive xGA also (4th).

We’re quite happy therefore to take a piece of the Seagulls in this one catching a quarter goal headstart on Sunday against Aston Villa.

Prediction: Brighton +0.25 (-105)

Everton vs Bournemouth | Sunday May 28 | 11:30am ET

Everton -210 | Bournemouth +500 | Draw +390

Everton vs Bournemouth Premier League data

After making some savvy investments in the January transfer window, manager Gary O’Neil has finally been able to breathe a sigh of relief over his last few games in charge of Bournemouth since taking over back in November, and it’s been a job well done for the English coach as well navigating his side to yet another top flight season in the Premier League.

That’s been no mean feat either as Bournemouth have the weakest roster by market value by a fairly significant margin this season, with their average player value coming in at almost half of that of current foes Everton this weekend.

Everton for their part don’t have the same luxury as their south coast rivals heading into this one, as wins for both Leicester and Leeds could potentially doom the Toffees to their first second tier drop since the 1950-51 season, and with just one win in their last ten league games overall, it will no doubt be a nervous finish to the season for the Toffees.

Both sides come into this one giving up the most chances allowed at the back in the entire league this season, with the Cherries allowing a massive 1.96 xGA per game on average to opponents, and the Toffees not doing much better allowing 1.76 xGA per game on average.

That’s added extra weight by the fact that both teams are giving up the most number of shots at the back this season as well, combining for a huge 32 shots per game allowed on average, by far the highest mark in the league.

Despite the obvious pressure on Everton heading into this one, both offenses should have a field day on Sunday and we like the Over 2.75 goals at Goodison Park this weekend as a result.

Prediction: Over 2.75 (-115)

Leicester City vs West Ham | Sunday May 28 | 11:30am ET

Leicester City -105 | West Ham +200 | Draw +290

Leicester City vs West Ham Premier League data

It doesn’t get much simpler than this for Leicester this weekend as after Monday’s 0-0 draw against Newcastle, anything other than a Foxes win at the King Power on Sunday would result in Leicester’s first lower league appearance in nine years.

The bad news for Leicester however is that even that may not be enough to save them as they also need Bournemouth to get a result against Everton in the other fixture over at Goodison Park this weekend, so the cards are definitely stacked against Dean Smith’s men heading into this one.

They face a West Ham side on Sunday that were embroiled in the relegation fight for a large portion of the season themselves before finally putting some solid wins together over the last few weeks, including against Manchester United, to put some long-awaited breathing room between themselves and the chasing pack.

West Ham have a huge Europa Conference League final on deck against Fiorentina in just ten days time, so given the time off between these two fixtures, David Moyes might forego resting his starting eleven here in order to get his side sharp for the upcoming European final over in the Czech Republic.

Despite what’s sure to be a raucous atmosphere to start the game over in the East Midlands this weekend, should news start filtering into the ground about Everton potentially gaining an early lead against Bournemouth, expect that to positivity to fade fairly quickly, and given West Ham’s better overall data ahead of this one also, we’re happy to take a piece of the away side to avoid defeat on Sunday.

Prediction: West Ham +0.5 (-120)
