Manchester United vs Brighton | September 16 | 10:00am ET

Manchester United +115 | Brighton +210 | Draw +290

Manchester United vs Brighton Premier League Prediction

Manchester United will look to add another win at home here on Saturday after a less-than-ideal start to the season overall.

United have managed to generate two wins from their four games to start the year, with both victories coming at home, but looked far from impressive in either one, narrowly overcoming Wolves in their opening fixture through an extremely fortunate non-penalty decision that was never given.

Then three weeks ago when they were forced to come from behind against Nottingham Forest to snatch a 3-2 victory late in a game that raised some serious question marks about the Red Devils title aspirations this season.

Those abject performances will hardly give fans a ton of confidence heading into a game against a high-flying Brighton side that have impressed this season, but despite the nature of the results so far, United have been much better at Old Trafford than on the road this season.

The Red Devils have already averaged 0.48 xG more per game at home this year than they have on the road, along with holding opponents to 0.30 xGA less at the other end.

That chance creation has been highlighted by how much more dangerous United have been in front of goals this season at home, generating the joint-3rd highest shots from inside the 6-yard box at home, compared with ranking 17th away from home.

Brighton have some injury concerns heading into this game, most notably hat-trick hero and Manchester United transfer target Evan Ferguson who devastated Newcastle two weeks ago.

They also face their first European match ever at home next week against AEK Athens in a group that is sure to test the EPL side’s quality.

Overall, the international break couldn’t have come at a better time for Manchester United, who need to refocus themselves not just on domestic efforts, but also on their own European campaign which kicks off next week.

With their overall deeper squad and home advantage ahead of this one, we expect the Red Devils to get over the line here against Brighton on Saturday.

Prediction: Manchester United -0.25 (-115)

Everton vs Arsenal | September 17 | 11:30am ET

Everton +495 | Arsenal -190 | Draw +355

Everton vs Arsenal Premier League Prediction

After an incredibly hard-fought draw at home against fellow relegation candidates Sheffield United two weeks ago, Everton finally dragged themselves off the foot of the table, but face a monumental task in trying to generate points yet again this week against last season’s EPL runners-up Arsenal on Sunday.

Arsenal have started the season off fairly routinely, with three wins from their four games so far, but have looked listless at times, needing a late penalty against Fulham three weeks ago in order to come back and grab a draw in that game.

While a fully focused Arsenal side should, in theory at least, have relatively little issue in overcoming an Everton side who have struggled immensely across their opening few games of the season.

The fact is Arsenal have some absolutely mammoth games on deck over the next seven days, including hosting PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League in midweek, along with facing North London arch-rivals Tottenham just a few days later.

Because of that, Arsenal may well look to go through the motions here, similar to what they did against Nottingham Forest in Week 1, looking to take an early lead and effectively close up shop.

Unlike Nottingham Forest, however, Everton shouldn’t overly trouble them on the defensive end in this game as the Toffees have struggled to both create and finish clear-cut chances in front of goal this season.

Take Under 3 goals on Sunday in the EPL matchup between Arsenal and Everton at Goodison Park.

Prediction: Under 3 (-120)

Nottingham Forest vs Burnley | September 18 | 2:45pm ET

Nottingham Forest +115 | Burnley +230 | Draw +250

Nottingham Forest vs Burnley Premier League Prediction

It’s fair to say Nottingham Forest have impressed almost everyone in the way they’ve started this season overall, with the Tricky Trees looking to build on a highly clinical road win against Chelsea two weeks ago down in London as huge outsiders.

Striker Taiwo Awoniyi has been instrumental in that positive start to the season for Forest, netting three goals and one assist across his opening four games of the season so far.

Burnley meanwhile have gone in reverse, struggling a little more than what their pre-season odds suggested, a fact that has seen them lose all of their opening three games by multiple goals this season.

However, in Burnley’s defense, they have faced an incredibly difficult schedule to start the year, with Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Tottenham all playing them in quick succession (a postponed game against Luton Town has been their only respite this season).

So Vincent Kompany’s men will no doubt fancy their chances against fellow bottom half side Nottingham Forest on Monday night in which to potentially bank their first points of the season.

That said, Forest notched 30 of their 38 points at home last season and already got off to a winning start at the City Ground this year as well with a 2-1 win over Sheffield United last month.

While we expect this game to be a lot more competitive than Burnley’s recent outings, the fact is, Nottingham Forest are riding high right now and should carry that momentum over into another victory at home on Monday night.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest -0.25 (-115)
