United have looked like a team transformed, playing with a level of confidence and tactical clarity that has seen them surge up the form table.

West Ham, however, have recently turned a corner of their own. Under Nuno Espírito Santo, the Hammers have navigated their way to three wins from their last four games, and they will enter Tuesday’s clash optimistic about maintaining that upward trajectory.

The title race remains wide open following last weekend’s drama, as Erling Haaland’s late injury-time penalty secured all three points for Manchester City at Anfield.

The 2-1 victory over Liverpool ensures that Arsenal remain within touching distance, but City can ill afford any further slips.

Pep Guardiola’s side enters Wednesday’s clash having won just two of their last seven Premier League games overall—a patchy run of form that is unlikely to be enough to catch an Arsenal side that has looked back to its best over their last two outings.

City now face a Fulham side that has struggled for momentum recently, sitting seventh-from-bottom in the form table with an average of 1.17 PPG.

Marco Silva’s men are also one of only three teams not to have kept a clean sheet across their recent six-game stretch.

However, the Cottagers have shown they can be remarkably resilient against the league’s elite this season.

They have held both Chelsea and Arsenal to single goals and were minutes away from a result at Anfield before conceding a second goal deep into injury time against Liverpool.

History, however, is heavily stacked against the visitors. Fulham have lost 19 straight matches to Manchester City heading into this fixture—an English league record for consecutive defeats against a single opponent.
