Giants vs Raiders Pick: The Betting Analysis

New York is 2-6 SU and 2-5-1 ATS. Las Vegas is 3-5 SU and 3-5 ATS. The last eight games between these two teams are split 4-4, but the Giants are 5-3 ATS in those meetings.

Those games went 5-3 to the under. New York is 4-1 ATS and SU in their L5 games against the Raiders. Six of the Giants’ L6 games have gone under, and five of the Raiders’ L6 games have gone under.

Thankfully, we will not have to watch Tommy DeVito play football in Week 9. It has already been announced that, barring a setback, Daniel Jones will play on Sunday, and every NFL fan can breathe a sigh of relief.

Once Tyrod Taylor got knocked out of the game for the Giants, it was as if the forward pass did not exist yet. DeVito went 2/7 for -1 yards, and he was sacked twice.

Yes, he lost more yards on sacks than he gained throwing the football. The Giant’s defense did a great job of getting after Zach Wilson and limiting Breece Hall in the run game, but their offense…sheesh.

As we mentioned already, thankfully, Jones, who has had a bad season (we did not forget), will be under center for the Giants on Sunday.

Raiders Football Preview

The Raiders were on primetime this past week, and boy, was it ugly. Jimmy G. was terrible; he was sacked six times, he missed wide-open throws, and the Raiders barely put up any yards against a mediocre Lions defense.

They had one great touchdown drive, and that was quite literally it. Their defense held up well for the most part, but they were on the field so often that the wheels fell off.

Giants vs Raiders Prediction: The PICK

Now, the Raiders host Daniel Jones and the Giants, who are also coming off an embarrassing performance.

We do not know who has the edge in this matchup of terrible teams, and we recommend watching a different game on Sunday. The Raiders have not covered their team total, and they can barely move the football.

Jones has been bad when healthy, and the Giants’ defense has played well this season. This one will be ugly. Now, with a new coach and a new QB, the Raiders should be able to finally move the football and score.
