RB Prop Prediction 1: Brian Robinson Jr OVER 56.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Brian Robinson Jr has become a focal point of the Washington Commanders offense with 19 carries for 59 yards in Week 1 and 18 carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns in Week 2.
Robinson Jr led his team in both carries and yards in both weeks as Antonio Gibson Jr has become a non-factor with a total of 5 carries for only 19 rushing yards.
In Week 2, Robinson played a crucial role in overcoming a 21-3 deficit last week against the Denver Broncos as he came alive with two 4th quarter touchdowns.
The Buffalo Bills run defense surrendered only 55 yards in Week 2 but that was against a Vegas Raiders team that has struggled to get Josh Jacobs going on the ground.
However, two weeks ago they were gashed for 172 rushing yards against the New York Jets as Breece Hall ran for 127 yards on only 10 carries.
With the Bills favored by 6.5 points, the Commanders could be playing catch up, but Robinson will get the workload needed for him to surpass 56.5 rushing yards and cash this ticket.
RB Prop Prediction 2: Miles Sanders OVER 3.5 Receptions (projected line)
Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders has carried the ball 32 times for 115 yards during the first two weeks of the season. More importantly, Sanders has caught 7 of his 11 targets for 30 yards.
The Panthers just announced that #1 draft pick Bryce Young is unlikely to play due to an ankle injury. Enter check down quarterback Andy Dalton who has already been brought in twice to replace Young as the short yardage quarterback.
The Seattle Seahawks are a pass-friendly defense that has blitzed on only 14.9% of their plays thus far which is the lowest rate in the league.
During Frank Reich’s last full season with the Indianapolis Colts in 2021, his running backs saw a 14% target share against the blitz compared to 25% against standard pressure.
Through the first two weeks of the season, none of Sanders 11 targets occurred against the blitz. Dalton is in the twilight of his career, and he was never known for the deep ball.
This sets up as the perfect storm with him filling in for Young against a Seahawks defense that allowed 7 receptions to rookie running back Jamyr Gibbs just last week.
With the uncertainty at the quarterback position, we don’t have an official line but if we see a 3.5 at a reasonable price jump on board.
