They’ll turn around to play the Pelicans at home tonight as we’ll look for Ausar Thompson to go over 21.5 points + rebounds + assists. He had 27 points + rebounds + assists last night and we’re starting to see his minutes tick up into the mid 30s while averaging 25.2 minutes per game this month.

On the season Thompson averages 29 points + rebounds + assists per 40 minutes played and we should see increased minutes once again as Detroit will be playing without Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Stewart.

The Pelicans have allowed the third most points per game to small forwards over the last 15 days and the 18 points Thompson put up last night was tied for third most in a game from him all season.

It’s worth noting in the first head to head matchup Thompson had 24 points + rebounds + assists so let’s look for him to stuff the stat sheet as the Pistons look to quickly bounce back going over 21.5 points + rebounds + assists.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Jalen Suggs (ORL) Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118)

It’s been tough sledding for the Magic the last two weeks or so as they look to snap a six-game losing streak at home against the Kings tonight.

Jalen Suggs has missed the last two games with an illness, but we anticipate him back in the lineup tonight going over 24.5 points + rebounds + assists on Thursday.

Over the last 15 days the Kings have given up the most points and rebounds as well as the second most assists per game to point guards while giving up 127.6 points per game over their last five.

Sure, the Magic overall haven’t looked good lately but they’ve played some stout defenses during their losing streak including the Thunder, Hawks, Hornets and Cavaliers with the Kings sitting 28th in defensive efficiency on the season.

It’s also worth noting that Suggs plays much more efficiently in home games this season averaging four more points and 1.3 more rebounds per game at home compared to road games while shooting 10% better in home games as well.

With that, let’s look for Suggs to be the catalyst for the Magic to get back on track tonight going over 24.5 points + rebounds + assists at home against the Kings on Thursday night.
