NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Justin Edwards (PHI) Over 8.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (+100)

No it’s not a typo, we’re going to go over 8.5 points + rebounds + assists for 76ers forward Justin Edwards as the Celtics vs 76ers series shifts to Philadelphia for Game 3 tonight.

Edwards carved out a nice role for himself in Game 2 notching 10 points + rebounds + assists seeing 22 minutes of action and that was after a Game 1 in which he had 13 points + rebounds + assists in 17 minutes.

Edwards actually saw more minutes than guard Quentin Grimes in Game 2 with the forward averaging 9.9 points + rebounds + assists at home during the regular season compared to 7.7 points + rebounds + assists per game while on the road.

Edwards has easily outplayed guys like Adem Bona and Dominick Barlow and it’s worth noting that in three regular season head-to-head matchups against the Celtics Edwards averaged 10.6 points + rebounds + assists in just 13 minutes per game.

He’s averaging 19.5 minutes per game so far across the first two games of the series and should see 20+ minutes again if guys like Bona and Barlow play how they did the first two games.

With that, let’s look for Edwards to play his normal role off the bench getting over just 8.5 points + rebounds + assists in Game 3 in Philadelphia tonight.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Scoot Henderson (POR) Over 14.5 Points (-102)

After Deni Avdija, Scoot Henderson has asserted himself as the team’s second scoring option as we’ll look for him to go over 14.5 points in Game 3 in Portland against the Spurs.

He had 31 points in Game 2 to lead Portland back from 14 points down in the fourth quarter and eventually win the game 106-103.

Sure, San Antonio didn’t have Victor Wembanyama for the second half of tonight’s game and he’s listed questionable for tonight while still dealing with a concussion.

Whether Wemby plays or not we still think Henderson gets over 14.5 points notching 18 points on 7-11 shooting in Game 1.

He’s shooting 64% for the series so far and in his one head-to-head matchup against San Antonio this regular season had 20 points in 38 minutes on April 8th. He tailed 38 minutes in Game 2 and during the regular season averaged 22.8 points per 40 minutes played.

Henderson didn’t start his season until early February so he has more tread on the tires than the rest of his teammates averaging 16.2 points per game on 47% shooting in 14 home games compared to just 12.5 points per game on the road while shooting 37%.

Take Henderson to go over 14.5 points tonight as the Trail Blazers look to stun San Antonio in Game 3.
