The Timberwolves will try and get back to their winning ways as they’ve lost two straight tough games to Phoenix, and this Dallas team. Dallas has won two-straight games as they look to pass the Jazz for the No. 4 seed. This is an interesting game with playoff implications. Let’s find the best bet:
Dallas Seeking Home Court Advantage
Dallas is tied with the Jazz for the 4-5 seed, but if Dallas passes them they would have home court advantage in that series so each win is important right now. These teams played on Monday and Dallas prevailed by two points with a balanced attack across the board with Dwight Powell having a big game.
Dallas is 2-1 against Minnesota this season, and nothing stands out ATS or O/U for this team this season. Their defense has been solid, particularly the second part of the season, but they’ve given up some big totals to opposing teams recently.
Minnesota’s Tough Schedule
This is not the schedule you want right now as you’re fighting for playoff seeding: Dallas, Phoenix, Dallas, Boston, Toronto and Denver. The Timberwolves have already dropped the first two of this stretch.
Minnesota has been all over the board with their ATS record and O/U record recently, but both of their last two losses were very close with them not covering the spread in either game. Karl Anthony Towns is listed as questionable for this game, but he’s not missed any time so far with this forearm injury so I expect him to play tonight.

I can’t figure out why this total is 228 points. Dallas has gone over this total only one time in their last ten games, and the last time they met on Monday they scored 218. This is a big jump, and I know Minnesota can be in shootouts, but Dallas has a way of slowing the pace and making it difficult for teams to score.
