Heat vs Hawks Analysis
The Heat are looking to escort the Hawks out of the playoffs tonight on their home court, and they are a -6.5 point favorite tonight with the game total sitting at 217.5. Let’s take a look at the game and find the best bet on the board.
Heat Looking to Close
After dropping game three, the Heat came back and pounded the Hawks 119-86 which means all three wins by the Heat this series have been covers as well.
They’ve also scored 110 or more in all three of those games, and they have completely overwhelmed Trae Young in this series and last game Young made 0 two point shots.
They are navigating the Kyle Lowry injury, but did not seem to miss him very much last game. Butler has been fantastic this series, and even with the return of Clint Capela Miami had no issues scoring.
Desperate Hawks
The Hawks just don’t have the firepower to keep up with Miami, and they still haven’t covered a game they’ve lost this season. Maybe they cover in a loss tonight in the last game of the season, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see Atlanta lose big again tonight.
Trae Young can’t get anything going on offense, and Capela returning didn’t help at all as he’s obviously not 100%. They’ve gotten little support from any of the role players as only one starter scored over 11 points last game.
Heat vs Hawks Prediction
Pretty easy for me to take Miami minus the points. Atlanta has gone all season not covering a game they’ve lost, I don’t see what changes tonight. Miami has covered all three wins in this series as well, I see them making it four.
Prediction: Miami Heat -6.5
