Expert NBA Player Props for Friday: Karl-Anthony Towns, Knicks OVER 23.5 Points (-106)

The Indiana Pacers couldn’t stop Karl-Anthony Towns in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals as he scored 35 points (33 in regulation) on 11-17 from the field, 4-7 from long distance and 9-11 from the charity stripe.

Assuming he avoids foul trouble (only 4 in Game 1) “Big Zesty” will be locked in for close to 40 minutes as the Knicks look to avoid an 0-2 hole before traveling to Indiana for Games 3 & 4.

Expert NBA Player Props for Friday: Myles Turner, Pacers UNDER 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)

Myles Tuner came out of the gates on fire in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals where he scored 11 points in the first six minutes of the game as the New York Knicks left him wide open.

However, Turner still only finished with 19 Points + Rebounds as the Knicks tightened up defensively while holding him to only 6 field goal attempts during his final 25 minutes of play.

This is a brutal rebounding matchup for Turner as Karl-Anthony Towns draws him to the perimeter and he only logged 5 rebounds on 9 rebound chances in the opener.

In 16 games this season with Bennedict Mathurin active and the Pacers at full strength where Turner took 12 field goal attempts or less, he averaged only 20.1 PR while falling sort of this line in 69% of his games.

New York should continue to tighten up their defense on Turner as they look to salvage a game at MSG before heading to Indiana.
