Anthony Black Player Prop Pick: OVER 19.5 Points + Assists (-114) vs Phoenix Suns
Anthony Black has recorded 23+ PA in 3 of 4 games on the season while averaging 21.3 PA per game and his lone under occurred in a 129-99 blowout loss on the road against the Toronto Raptors.
Jalen Suggs and Paolo Banchero both remain out due to injury which is where we have seen Black step up in the past. The Phoenix Suns present Black with his most favorable matchup of the season as they rank DEAD LAST in defensive rating while allowing the 2nd most points per game (124.3).
Phoenix is also playing the second leg of a back-to-back so tired legs could be an issue and they also rank 27th against spot up shooters, 23rd against pick-&-roll ballhandlers and 28th in free throws allowed.
Dillon Brooks should be busy defending Franz Waner and that leaves Black with an extremely friendly matchup. The Suns are only favored by -1.5 so we should avoid a blowout in a close game.
Draymond Green Player Prop Pick: OVER 11.5 Rebounds + Assists (+100) vs Miami Heat
Draymond Green was ejected with 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter of his most recent game against the Phoenix Suns and he finished with only 6 RA across 17 minutes of play.
Prior to that game, Green had cleared this line in 3/5 games (avg 12.4/game) while landing on 11 exactly in the two games where he fell short.
Green has averaged 15.4 RA per 36 minutes and if this game remains competitive, he’s expected to play 32 approximately 32 minutes. The Miami Heat have allowed the 2nd most RA to opposing power forwards and they are playing the second leg of back-to-back with travel so tired legs could become a factor.
We have seen several opposing power forwards eclipse their respective RA lines against the Heat including Rui Hachimura (16), Jarace Walker (10), Jalen Johnson (20) and PJ Washington (11).
This is huge pace up spot for the Warriors (21st) as Miami ranks 3rd in tempo on the season and that should lead to more RA opportunities.
Golden State is favored by -7.5 points with a solid total of 234, so we should see a close enough game for Green to beat this line in a bit of a motivational spot.
