Expert NBA Player Props for Wednesday: Jusuf Nurkic Utah Jazz OVER 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-112)

Lauri Markkanen just popped up on the injury report, and this is the front half of a back-to-back situation so he could sit this game out.

Jusuf Nurkic has averaged 29.7 PR per 36 minutes without Markkanen this season and his usage rate has increased by 3.6%.

Nurkic has been in a groove recently as he’s covered this PR line in 7 of his last 10 games while landing on 23 twice.

Now Nurkic has an opportunity to feast on a Chicago Bulls defense that ranks 26th in PR allowed to opposing centers with 28.2 per game.

The Bulls also allow the 4th most points within 10 feet of the rim where Nurkic scores the majority of his points.

Nikola Vucevic does do a great job spacing the floor, but Nurkic logged 14 rebounds in his last head-to-head matchup (12 in regulation), and he’s seen 25+ rebound chances in each of his last three games.

Chicago is a -3.5-point home favorite with a total set at 241.5 so we should see a close and high scoring affair with full minutes for the starters.

Expert NBA Player Props for Wednesday: Maxime Raynaud Sacramento Kings UNDER 12.5 Points (-110)

Maxime Raynaud has fallen short of this line in 7 of his last 8 games overall and in 8/8 games against teams that rank above average in points allowed to opposing centers when playing less than 33 minutes per game (avg 8.5/game).

Raynaud has only played 34+ minutes 4 times in his last 10 games, and his playing time could be in jeopardy with the New York Knicks being favored by -10.5 points.

The Knicks are ranked 7th in points allowed within 10 feet of the rim where Raynaud scores 77% of his points. New York also rank 5th in points allowed to opposing centers and 4th in points allowed in the paint.

Precious Achiuwa has seen an uptick in minutes recently with 39 & 30 minutes in his last two games and that could clog up the paint even further for Raynaud. The rookie is going to need to be very efficient to eclipse this number.
