Expert NBA Player Props for Tuesday: Saddiq Bey New Orleans Pelicans OVER 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-121)

Saddiq Bey has covered this line in 13 of his last 14 games while landing on 16 in the lone game where he fell short.

The New Orleans Pelicans are playing the 2nd leg of a back-to-back with Herb Jones already being ruled out and Bey has cleared this number in 9/9 games without him on the court.

This is an elite matchup for Bey as they Cleveland Cavaliers have allowed the 4th most points and 2nd most rebounds to opposing forwards on the season.

Now the Cavs are playing without Evan Mobley which makes them even weaker defensively. Bey hasn’t played Cleveland yet this season, but he posted a 31 PR (23 Pts/8 Rebs) effort in his last head-to-head game in March.

There is also a chance that Zion Williamson sits tonight which would give Bey some extra usage and minutes. Bey should be good for 25+ minutes regardless and I see the Pels hanging around despite being listed as -8/5-point road underdogs.

Expert NBA Player Props for Tuesday: Trae Young Atlanta Hawks OVER 9.5 Assists (+106)

Trae Young has two games under his belt since missing over a month & a half with an injury and he’s managed to log 9 & 10 assists despite playing only 20 & 26 minutes.

His minutes should probably ramp up to 30+ tonight but he’s seen tremendous volume with 14 potential assists in both games since his return and he’s averaged 11.7 assists in his last 20 games with that type of volume.

Young has an amazing track record against the Chicago Bulls with 10+ assists in 7 of his last 8 games while averaging 13.1 assists on 18.4 potentials per game.

The Bulls have allowed the 11th most assists per game, but this game will be played at breakneck speed as these teams rank 4th and 6th in tempo.

These teams combined for a ridiculous 302 points on Sunday night, and we should fully expect another barn burner with a total set at 253.5.

Young scored 35 points in that contest, and he still managed 9 dimes despite playing only 26 minutes. Dyson Daniels also recorded 9 assists in that game, and he’s been ruled out with hip inflammation.
