Cracker Barrel 400 Track: Nashville Superspeedway

The Cracker Barrel 400 takes place at Nashville Superspeedway, a unique 1.33-mile concrete oval located just outside Nashville, Tennessee.

Unlike most intermediate tracks on the schedule, Nashville’s concrete surface creates changing grip levels throughout a run and can be tough on tires, rewarding drivers who can manage their equipment over the long haul.

The track features 14 degrees of banking in the corners, producing a blend of intermediate-track speed and short track style racing where track position is important but passing is still possible.

Nashville tends to favor drivers who excel on concrete surfaces and can adapt as the track  evolves throughout the race. The wide racing surface allows multiple grooves, especially during long green-flag runs when drivers search for grip.

Recent races have featured strong  performances from drivers like Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, and Ross Chastain,  who have shown the ability to balance aggression with tire conservation.

The Cracker Barrel 400 has quickly become one of the more entertaining stops on the NASCAR calendar, often delivering late-race strategy battles, restarts, and plenty of action under the Tennessee lights.

Cracker Barrel 400 Manufacturer Winner: Toyota (+105)

We were on Toyota last week at Charlotte, and honestly, the handicap was right even though the ticket lost.

Toyota had the fastest cars most of the race, but a late pit strategy gamble from Daniel Suárez combined with NASCAR ending the race because of rain completely flipped the outcome.  Sometimes the result doesn’t match who controlled the race.

The bigger picture still points heavily toward Toyota being the strongest manufacturer in NASCAR right now.

They’ve won the majority of races this season, including key victories at Kansas, Las Vegas, Darlington, Bristol, and Dover—tracks that share characteristics with Nashville and reward long run speed and strong organizational depth.

Toyota also continues to place multiple cars near the front every week, which becomes a huge advantage in races where strategy, pit cycles, and late cautions matter.

At plus money, we’re getting a strong price on the manufacturer that has consistently shown the best speed across the schedule. Last week’s loss doesn’t change the overall read.
