Cyril Gane Vs Tai Tuivasa Prediction and Odds | UFC Fight Night September 3

UFC Fight Night Picks and Predictions

UFC Fight Night in Paris Betting Preview

The best of the heavyweight division will be on full display in this matchup as former interim champion Ciryl Gane welcomes Tai Tuivasa to Paris as they’ll be locked in the UFC cage for 25 minutes or less.

Both men have been at the top of their game over the past few years as Tuivasa will be putting his five-fight KO streak on the line while Gane will be looking to bounce back after his first career loss, which came at the hands of the undisputed champion Francis Ngannou.

This fight will serve as the headliner for the first ever UFC event in Paris, and it seems fitting that Paris native Ciryl Gane welcomes one of the most devastating knockout artists of all time into the Octagon.
Tai Tuivasa is 1-1 as a UFC underdog and will need to pull off another upset this Saturday as a +400 underdog.

Cyril Gane has been a favourite in all his UFC bouts, having gone 7-1 in the UFC thus far. Title opportunity is on the line for both men in this matchup as they’ll be looking to earn a chance at gold.

Bam-Bam

Tai Tuivasa has grown up in the UFC as he signed in 2017 as a very new person to the sport of MMA as he had a background in street fighting. He came into the UFC firing on all cylinders as he quickly impressed by earning three victories in his first year for the promotion.

As he earned himself the Main Event slot against former champion Junior Dos Santos, he fell short, sparked a three-fight losing streak, and fell to his absolute lowest in the sport.

Tuivasa has found his feet in the sport as he’s won 5 straight bouts via KO, including a knockout victory over the KO king Derrick Lewis in his last fight.

Bon Gamin

Cyril Gane features some of the most developed striking in modern MMA, as his Muay Thai background and athleticism make him one of the most dangerous strikers we’ve ever seen in the sport.

He’s made some of the biggest punchers in the sport look silly attempting to strike against him, including Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Derrick Lewis, not to mention outstriking Francis Ngannou by 23 significant strikes while on the feet and avoiding the power.

His wrestling let him down big time in his bid to be the undisputed champion as he was taken down and controlled for nearly 9 minutes. I’m sure Gane will be wary of some potential wrestling coming from Tuivasa in this matchup.

Cyril Gane Vs Tai Tuivasa Prediction

In this matchup, I expect both men to be content to strike and keep this fight standing. Tuivasa brings insane power, while the movement and sharpness of Gane can hurt anybody who stands before him. In my opinion, this sets this fight up for an under.

Prediction: Under 3.5 Rounds (-120)
