NRFI Prediction 1: Twins vs Brewers (-142)

Brewers ace Corbin Burnes gets the start in Milwaukee today taking on Kenta Maeda and the Twins at 2:10pm ET.

Burnes has allowed current Twins hitters to bat only .177 combined in their careers as he hasn’t allowed a first inning run in 18 of his 25 starts on the season.

Maeda has only allowed current Brewers to hit .232 off him as he sports a sub-3.00 ERA since he came back from an injury on June 23rd.

Both the Brewers and Twins sport a team batting average on the season that is bottom 10 in the league as both starting pitchers sport a WHIP that is sub-1.20.

This is a battle of division leaders so expect both pitchers to be on their A-Game especially with both holding leads that are five games or less. Play on a Twins vs Brewers NRFI at -142.

NRFI Prediction 2: Reds vs Angels Game 1 (-130)

We’re set for a pitchers duel in the first doubleheader game between the Reds and Angels. Lefty Andrew Abbott takes the mound against Shohei Ohtani as each pitcher sports a WHIP below 1.15.

Abbott hasn’t allowed a first inning run in 10 of 14 starts on the season including back-to-back his last two as Ohtani hasn’t allowed one in 16 of 22 starts on the season including nine straight.

The Reds have struggled offensively as of late only scoring 11 runs in their last four games with the Angels seemingly with nothing to play for now sitting 10 games back out of the AL Wildcard race.

In addition to both starters’ solid WHIP they also both sport an ERA that is below 3.20. Play on a NRFI in today’s first double header game between the Reds and Angels at -130 with first pitch at 4:07pm ET.
