NRFI Prediction 1: Twins vs Yankees (-132)

Sonny Gray goes into his big matchup against the Yankees sporting a 2-0 record and 0.82 ERA. He’s allowed a run in the first inning in only one of his three starts and with the Twins allowing a run in the first in each of their last two games, we’re bound to see some regression there.

In his home starts last season Gray posted a 2.66 ERA and in his one start against the Yankees Gray went six innings allowing only one run. Jhony Brito starts for the Yankees coming off a 4.1 inning outing against the Angels allowing only one run.

Brito will be looking for revenge against this Twins team and should be locked in out of the gates as he gave up a whopping nine runs to this Twins team during his outing back on April 13th.

Bet on a NRFI to happen in this game at -132 as both pitchers should be locked in to start tonight’s game between the Twins and Yankees.

NRFI Prediction 2: Brewers vs Tigers (-118)

The Milwaukee Brewers head into their game against the Tigers with a bottom five team batting average against left-handed pitching sitting at just .204.

The Tigers send lefty Matthew Boyd to the mound tonight who hasn’t allowed a first inning run in each of his first three starts this season. Detroit’s cold bats seem to have rolled over from last season as they’re dead last in the MLB in total runs scored this season.

This sets up nice for a NRFI with the Brewers sending Colin Rea to the mound who has allowed a first inning run in one of his two starts.

The Tigers haven’t scored in the first inning in each of their last five games and have only scored six runs total in those contests. Bet on a NRFI in the Brewers vs Tigers matchup at -118 at FanDuel right now!
