Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For June 10
Seventeen total runs were scored by the two teams of the players I chose yesterday, but unfortunately none of those runs were produced by home runs from those players. WagerTalk content contributor Kyle Kargel provides his daily home run prop picks and predictions for Friday, June 10 with odds provided by FanDuel.

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Paul Goldschmidt (+590)
Luis Castillo has been solid in his past two starts allowing three earned runs in 12.1 innings pitched combined, but that doesn’t take away with how inconsistent he can be at times.
Paul Goldschmidt has been absolutely scorching this season hitting .338 with 12 home runs and 47 RBIs, leading the Cardinals in all three categories.
He’s come back down to earth in June only hitting .258 with one home run, but I expect that to change tonight. Goldschmidt in his career against Castillo is 9-36 with three home runs.
Goldschmidt also hits 100 points better at home and nine of his 12 home runs have come at Busch Stadium as well.
Before being swept by the Rays the Cardinals were 10-5 in their previous 15 games and they’ll want to get back on track in a beneficial matchup with the Reds.
Even if Goldschmidt doesn’t get a home run against Castillo specifically when he’s in, the Reds’ bullpen has the highest ERA of any team in the majors and has allowed the 4th most home runs.
You can get Goldschmidt at at +590 which is great, but other Cardinals hitters you could consider are Nolan Arenado (+610) and Tyler O’Neill (+440).
Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Christian Yelich (+460)
Christian Yelich is far behind in what many thought would be a bounce back year. After slugging 44 home runs in 130 games in 2019 he’s hit 28 total in 231 games since then.
He desperately needs to get back on track with only five this year and tonight presents a nice opportunity to hit a home run out of Nationals Park.
Yelich somehow has a higher batting average against lefties this season but four of his five home runs have come against right handed pitching.
Nationals starter Eric Fedde is a righty and in his last two starts he’s allowed a combined 10 earned runs in only six innings pitched. Washington’s bullpen has allowed the 10th most home runs in the MLB and have the 5th highest ERA.
Considering the capability Yelich has to hit a home run and Milwaukee as a team needing to halt a 6-game losing streak, expect them to be aggressive at the plate tonight against a very vulnerable starting pitcher and bullpen.
Yelich is listed at +460 to hit a home run, but if you’re looking for other options in this matchup you could consider Hunter Renfroe (+385) and Rowdy Tellez (+380).
