Julio Urias makes the start for the Dodgers tonight coming off the IL going agaisnt Bobby Witt Jr. and the Royals.
Witt Jr. has 12 home runs on the season with six coming in 83 at-bats against lefties with the other six coming in 245 at-bats vs righties.
He bats .301 against lefties on the season and has hit seven of 12 home runs at home. Urias has given up 14 home runs on the season in just 55.1 innings pitched including six in his last two starts before going on the IL.
He hasn’t been great on the road sporting a 7.61 road ERA giving up nine home runs in 23.2 innings. Admittedly, Witt Jr. and the Royals are bad this season but tonight get featured on a national TV game in which they should play up for especially at home.
Grab Witt Jr. at +500 to hit a home run against the Dodgers with other Royals hitters to look at include Salvador Perez (+420) and MJ Melendez (+560).
Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Cal Raleigh (+630)
The Rays put up 15 runs on the Mariners last night as they send Tyler Glasnow to the mound tonight struggling against left handed hitting on the season.
Cal Raleigh is a switch hitting catcher who will be batting from the left side against Glasnow. The Rays righty gives up a .274 batting average and .986 OPS to left handed hitting along with all five home runs given up on the season.
Raleigh has hit 10 of 11 home runs from the left side of the plate in 205 at-bats with only one from the right side of the plate in 36 at-bats. His batting average is 39 points better at home and 98 points better during night games.
He hit 27 home runs last year for Seattle with 24 of them coming from the left side of the plate so his splits this season aren’t an anomaly.
Raleigh has some work to do if he wants to sniff the home run total he had last season so grab him to hit one tonight at +630 with other Mariners hitters to look at include Teoscar Hernandez (+440) and Jarred Kelenic (+540).
