MLB Player Props Today for Thursday: Julio Rodriguez, Mariners UNDER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+110)

Julio Rodriguez has cleared this line in 56% of his games this season but he has fallen short in 4 of his last 6 games including a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers where he went only 3-11 with no extra-base hits, RBI or runs scored.

Now Rodriguez has to deal with a brutal matchup against Yusei Kikuchi who he’s gone 1-12 (083) against with six strikeouts and no free passes.

Kikuchi should be highly motivated pitching in Seattle against his former team who he held to only one earned run across 12 innings pitched in two outings last season.

Despite being a left-handed pitcher, Kikuchi has handled right-handed bats well, holding them to a .250 batting average across 340 at-bats on the season.

J-Rod has performed better on the road, but he’s struggled to get on the board against Kikuchi, and I see Kikuchi having success tonight against a lineup that has hit only .215 against him across 93 at-bats.

MLB Player Props Today for Thursday: Nick Kurtz, Athletics OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-130)

Nick Kurtz is currently riding a 10-game hitting streak and he’s covered this HRR line in 12 of his last 15 games.

Kurtz has logged 19 extra-base hits during his last 20 games, and he’s crushed right-handed pitching with a .272 batting average, .327 ISO & 15 home runs.

Now he gets an opportunity against his former teammate in Jason Alexander who he’s gone 1-3 against with a double.

Alexander spent most of his season in the Athletics bullpen and he’s posted an 8.40 ERA and 1.80 WHIP on the season.

His only start actually came against the Athletics where Alexander pitched 6 innings while allowing 3 earned runs in a game that included Kurtz’s double. Left-handed sluggers have hit .281 against Alexander with a .594 slugging percentage across 32 at-bats.

Kurtz has actually performed better at home this season in the minor league facility, but I trust him to get on Alexander tonight while batting out of the 3-hole on the road.
