Ginn relies heavily on his sinker. throwing it on over 50% of his pitches on the season and Carpenter has logged .471 batting average and ridiculous 60% hard-hit rate against that pitch.

Ginn has really struggled at the minor league facility in Sacramento where he’s posted a 6.75 ERA and .293 OBA compared to a 3.38 ERA and .235 OBA on the road. On top of that, we have temperatures over 90 degrees and wind blowing out tonight.
