MLB Player Props Today for Wednesday: Enrique Hernandez, Dodgers OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+135)

Enrique Hernandez has covered this HRR line in each of his first four playoff games while going 5-16 (.313) with two doubles, two RBI and four runs scored in the process.

Hernandez even managed to eclipse this line in Game 2 without logging a hit as he drove in a run and later scored on a fielder’s choice in the 7th inning.

Now Kike gets another opportunity to feast on Aaron Nola who he’s gone 4-11 (.364) against with three home runs and 6 RBI.

Nola did pitch well in his last regular season game, but he’s given up a ton of sharp contact, and he’s allowed 29 earned runs across 44.2 innings of work (5.90 ERA) since returning from injury in mid-August.

The Phillies bullpen has also struggled in this series where they have posted a 7.11 ERA compared to a 4.25 ERA in the regular season.

Hernandez is projected to bat 8th at home but the +135 price more than makes up for the potential of one less at-bat.

MLB Player Props Today for Wednesday: Kyle Schwarber, Phillies UNDER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135)

It feels like Kyle Schwarber lost his timing during the Philadelphia Phillies bye as he’s gone 0-7 with 5 strikeouts in the first two games of the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Schwarber also struggled in his last four games of the regular season where he went a combined 0-14 with 8 strikeouts.

Now Schwarber has to deal with Yoshinobu Yamamoto who he’s gone 0-2 against with a free pass. Yamamoto has been nearly unhittable as he only allowed 3 earned runs in his last 34 regular season innings pitched and he’s posted a 0.67 ERA in September.

The Dodgers ace also held the Cincinnati Reds to 0 earned runs (2R) across 6.2 innings of work during his first postseason performance.

Schwarber has also struggled against multiple Dodger relievers including Alex Vesia (0-7), Blake Treinen (0-2) and Tanner Scott (1-5).

We may have to hold our breath during a late inning at-bat, but I fully trust Yamamoto to handle his business tonight in LA.
