Week 4 College Football Player Props Prediction 1: Jalen Milroe, Alabama Over 225.5 Passing Yards (-115 FanDuel)
It’s now or never for Alabama QB Jalen Milroe as he was once again named the starter after getting benched following the Crimson Tide’s 34-24 loss to Texas two weeks ago.
Look for his team to rally around him as Alabama plays a crucial game against Ole Miss on Saturday going over 225.5 yards passing.
He topped this number in that loss against Texas as he should be more familiar now with the Alabama offense.
The Rebels have allowed over 226 passing yards per game this season including 307 last week to Haynes King as the Rebels beat Georgia Tech 48-23.
The pressure is on Milroe to have a solid game in this ranked matchup and should he have that, there should be no issue with him surpassing 225 passing yards once again as he looks to prove Saban and the rest of the coaching staff that he deserves the starting spot for the rest of the season.
Week 4 College Football Player Props Prediction 2: Malik Nabers, LSU Over 90.5 Receiving Yards (-115 FanDuel)
We’ve seen excellent wide receivers come out of LSU over the years including Justin Jefferson and Ja’Mar Chase and we could see another on the horizon in junior Malik Nabers who is coming off a 13 catch 239 yard performance last week against Mississippi State.
Now we don’t think Nabers will get THAT many yards this week against Arkansas at home but we do think he can get up and over 90.5 receiving yards as Jayden Daniels’ #1 target.
It wasn’t until the end of last season he started breaking out as LSU’s go-to receiver as he surpassed this 90.5 receiving yard number in three of his final four games including the SEC Championship against Georgia where he had five catches for 128 yards.
Arkansas’s pass defense has been solid thus far but they haven’t played anywhere near the competition that LSU will present on Saturday. Take Nabers to go over 90.5 receiving yards with LSU heading into their game against Arkansas as 17-point favorites.
