NFL Week 5 Quarterback Props
NFL Week 5 Quarterback Prop Prediction #1
Jordan Love Green Bay Packers OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+110)
We cashed this play in last week’s article as Jordan Love has thrown for exactly two touchdown passes in four of his games to kick off the 2026 campaign. Love and the Green Bay Packers offense did a solid job against a blitz happy defense in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3rd, 41.9%) in Week 4.
Now they face a similar defense as the Chicago Bears rank 4th in blitz rate (40.5%). The Bears defense looks better than it is as they faced weak offenses in the New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles and a Minnesota Vikings team playing without Kyler Murray.
With that, Bryce Young is the only quarterback to eclipse this line against the Bears (3). Love threw four touchdown passes against Chicago the last time he faced them in a 31-27 playoff loss and I’m backing him to throw at least half of that on Sunday.
NFL Week 5 QB Prop Prediction #2
Brock Purdy San Francisco 49ers OVER 21.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Brock Purdy has run for 29+ yards in each of his first four games of the 2026 campaign while averaging 30.5 rushing yards per game. Now Purdy gets an opportunity to run wild against a Seattle Seahawks that has allowed the 4th most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks with an average of 26.3 per game.
The Seahawks have allowed two opposing quarterbacks crush this line including Justin Herbert (40) and Drake Maye (47). Purdy just ran the ball 5 times for 37 yards against Seattle during the 2025 playoffs.
Seattle doesn’t necessarily blitz at a high rate, but they still do a great job putting pressure on the quarterback so we should see Purdy run on scrambles and designed runs.
NFL Week 5 Running Back Props
NFL Week 5 RB Prop Prediction #1
Aaron Jones Minnesota Vikings OVER 72.5 Rushing Yards (-114) FD
Aaron Jones has recorded 94+ rushing yards in 2 of his last 3 games while averaging 74.3 rushing yards per game across his first four games of the 2026 campaign. Now Jones gets an elite matchup against a New Orleans Saints defense that has allowed the MOST running back rushing yards with an average of 138.5 yards per game.
We have already seen two opposing running backs crush this line against New Orleans including Bijan Robinson (145, Brian Robinson 62 yards same game) and Jahmyr Gibbs (156).
In the other two games we saw Mike Washington & Ashton Jeanty combined for 110 yards and Derrick Henry finish with 68 yards.
The Vikings key receivers are dealing with injuries as Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison both being limited as questionable so leaning on Jones might be their best game plan.
NFL Week 5 RB Prop Prediction #2
Omarion Hampton Los Angeles Chargers OVER 37.5 Rushing Yards (-114) FD
Omarion Hampton has actually fallen short of his respective rushing total 3 of his first 4 games of the season but now we get a discounted line of 37.5 that he’s actually eclipsed in all four of those games with 45, 56, 94 and 43 yards.
In Week 5, the Los Angeles are dealing with a ton of injuries to their receiving core as Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston and Charlie Kolar are all listed as questionable.
The Denver Broncos has been lackluster across the board, but they have really struggled against opposing running backs on the ground as they have allowed the 6th most yards with an average of 113.5 per game.
The Broncos have allowed an opposing running back to crush this line in each of their first four games of the season including Christian McCaffrey (52), Kyren Williams (88), Bhaysul Tuten (65) and Kenneth Walker III (173).
Denver also ranks near the bottom of advanced metrics like EPA per handoff DVOA. The Chargers should look to feed their #1 back early and often with tons of receiving talent being limited in practice.
NFL Week 5 Wide Receiver/Tight End Props
NFL Week 5 TE Prop Prediction #1
Mark Andrews Baltimore Ravens OVER 29.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Mark Andrews has cleared this line in 2 of hist first 4 games of the season with exactly 49 yards in both of those games and he landed on 27 and 24 yards in the two games where he fell short.
Andrews owns the 5th highest target share among NFL tight ends at 23.5%. Tyler Huntley is taking over for Lamar Jackson as the starting quarterback in Week 5 and backup QBs are well known for utilizing their tight ends as safety blankets.
Huntley made two starts during the 2025 campaign and he targeted his tight ends 16 times and he also fed the position a ton back in 2021 & 2022. Andrews is a veteran presence that Huntley can rely on, and his floor has been 24 yards in 2026.
NFL Week 5 WR Prop Prediction #2
Denzel Boston Cleveland Browns OVER 47.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
Denzel Boston has shined early in his rookie season while clearing this line in 3/4 games and recording 89, 41, 95 and 59 receiving yards. During those four games, Boston 5.5 targets per game and 21.8 yards per reception on a 19% target share.
The New York Jets actually rank above average at defending the wide receiver position, but they have still allowed 125 yards per game. We have already seen five opposing wide outs eclipse this line including Matthew Golden (58), Isaac TeSlaa (66), Jameson Williams (49), Rome Odunze (94) and Luther Burden (63).
There is a chance of rain on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium but there won’t be much wind to worry about so Boston should still be targeted through the air.
NFL Week 5 Touchdown Props
NFL Week 5 Anytime Touchdown Prop Prediction #1
Nico Collins Houston Texans (+150)
Nico Collins has absolutely dominated in his two fully healthy games where he’s recorded 14 receptions for 193 yards and three touchdowns to go along with a 26.1% target share and 36.1% air yards share.
Collins has been targeted three times in the red area while turning all three of those targets into scores and Dalton Schultz has been the only other player targeted in those games.
The Tennessee Titans rank well below average with an average of 167 receiving yards allowed to opposing wide outs and we have seen Zay Flowers, Darius Cooper and DeVonta Smith all collect touchdowns.
The Titans have also allowed touchdowns to opponents on 66.7% of their red area trips. The Texans are facing a 0-5 hole with a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London next on the docket so CJ Stroud should look to lean on his #1 option.
NFL Week 5 Anytime Touchdown Prop Prediction #2
Drake Maye New England Patriots (+370)
Drake Maye hasn’t recorded a rushing touchdown during the 2026 campaign, but he is coming off a game against the Buffalo Bills where he ran the ball 8 times for a season high 54 yards and he’s logged a rushing attempt inside the 5-yard line in back-to-back games.
Now Maye is facing a Las Vegas Raiders defense that has allowed the 9th most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks (19.3/game) and Malik Willis found the end zone against them in Week 1.
Rhamondre Stevenson is also dealing with a knee injury so the Patriots may utilize Maye’s legs a bit more often. Maye has averaged over 25 rushing yards per game throughout his career and he’s scored 5 times if you include the postseason. This is a great value play at this price.
