MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #1: Julio Rodriguez (SEA) +340

The Mariners look to make it a clean sweep of the Athletics today in Sacramento after their 4-1 win last night. Lefty Jeffrey Springs gets the start for the Athletics who is coming off a 6.1 inning effort at San Diego last time out but he allowed three home runs in that start and five overall across his last four.

With that we’re going to take Julio Rodriguez to hit his home run prop today going 4-14 with two home runs all-time against Springs.

After hitting just two home runs in April, Rodriguez has seven in May and has brought a power bat up to the plate when facing lefties blasting six of his nine home runs in 60 at-bats vs lefties and the other three home runs coming in 164 at-bats vs righties.

The Mariners outfielder has a hit in seven of his last eight games with the Athletics pitching staff as a whole giving up the fourth most amount of home runs in home games so far this season. Take Rodriguez to hit his home run prop at +340 as the Mariners look to keep their hot bats going to close out the road trip.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Brandon Lowe (PIT) +360

We get the pitcher who currently leads the MLB in home runs allowed this season getting the start tonight in Jameson Taillon as the Cubs and Pirates meet in Pittsburgh for the third of a four-game set.

We’re taking a shot with lefty Brandon Lowe hitting his home run prop tonight who has two hits in each of his last two games and slugging .549 this month as well.

Lowe has been a better hitter on the road than at home this season but he does have 10 of his 13 home runs off righties while slugging .617 against them as well.

Of Taillon’s 17 home runs allowed, ten have come against lefties while allowing a .569 slugging percentage against them this season as well. The Cubs starter has a 6.04 road ERA while allowing ten of his 17 home runs and recent form shows he’s vulnerable allowing six home runs combined across his last two starts.

All-time Lowe is 4-14 with two home runs against Taillon and also has home runs off Cubs relievers Phil Mason and Trent Thornton.

Lowe doesn’t have a home run this series but he does have two against the Cubs this season already while slugging .813 against them so let’s take him to hit his home run prop tonight at +360 before first pitch in Pittsburgh.
