Sure, Steph Curry is back scoring 29 points in their 117-116 loss against Houston last time out so how much will he play tonight against the worst team in the West? We’re going to take a shot on Gary Payton II going over 11.5 points tonight averaging 13.7 points per g

ame in March and going over this number in three of his last four games. What’s even more impressive is that he’s shooting 71% over his last five games while averaging 10 shot attempts per game during that time.

The Kings defense has been absolutely dreadful this season sitting 29th in defensive rating across their last 10 games and allowing the seventh most points per game to shooting guards this season.

It’s worth noting that Gui Santos will miss this game for Golden State and although Santos and Payton II don’t play the same position, Santos has been averaging 16.3 points per game since the all-star break and those points will need to be made up if Golden State wants to win easily tonight.

Payton averages just 15.3 minutes played per game this season but has been averaging 22.3 minutes per game since the all-star break and also averaging 19.1 points per 40 minutes played this season.

With that, let’s take Payton II to be a force off the bench against a deflated opponent in the Kings going over 11.5 points.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: John Collins (LAC) Over 11.5 Points (-102)

If the Clippers want to stay out of the 9 vs 10 play-in matchup they need to win as many of the remaining four games as possible starting tonight hosting the Mavericks.

John Collins has emerged as a serious scoring threat for the Clippers as of late averaging 19.7 points per game as we’ll look for him to go over 11.5 points tonight.

The Mavericks have allowed the seventh most points per game to power forwards over the last 30 days and have allowed the seventh most points in the paint per game over their last five games where Collins does a lot of his damage.

In three head-to-head matchups against the Mavericks this season Collins has averaged 12.3 points per game on 60% shooting.

Collins has seen his minutes tick down slightly averaging 25.5 since the all-star break compared to 28 minutes before that and although the Clippers are at full strength, Collins still has a formidable role in the rotation whether that means being a starter or coming off the bench like last game where he scored 25 points on 9-20 shooting in a 138-109 win at Sacramento.

It’s worth noting that Collins went 4-6 from three-point range in that game with Dallas allowing the fifth most three-pointers made to power forwards in the last 30 days.

In a crucial game against a feeble opponent tonight, let’s look for Collins to get over 11.5 points at home on Tuesday.
