Expert NBA Player Props for Monday: Peyton Watson Denver Nuggets OVER 15.5 Points (-104)

Peyton Watson has stepped up big time since Nikola Jokic went down with a left knee injury as he’s scored 23, 21 and 24 points on 19, 22 and 14 field goal attempts.

Aaron Gordon & Christian Braun both returned to limited action in the Denver Nuggets last game, but Watson still scored 23 points despite playing only 29 minutes.

Watson should see a ton of volume tonight and the Nuggets may need him on the floor regardless of the outcome.

Kawhi Leonard & Ivica Zubac are both active tonight and James Harden has covered this line in 11/18 games (62%) with both players on the court while averaging 12.8 RA per game.

When playing at home with both players, Harden has been even better with 13+ RA in 8/9 games (89%) while averaging 15.8 RA per game.

Harden has a great head-to-head track record against the Golden State Warriors as he’s cleared this line in 6 of his last 8 games while averaging 13.7 RA per game.

We have seen opposing point guards thrive against the Warriors including Isaiah Collier recording 12 RA with Keyonte George logging 11 in the same game.

The Los Angeles Clippers just watched a six-game winning streak fall by the wayside in a 31-point blowout loss to the Boston Celtics.

Harden still managed to register 15 RA in that contest, but the Clips should be focused in a bounce back spot.

Harden should see full minutes in a competitive game with both sides fully healthy and the books agree as Golden State enters the game as -1.5-point road favorites. Look for Harden to thrive at home with heavy usage and minutes.
