XFL | DC Defenders to Win Championship | 9:00pm EDT - May 14/2023 |
The PLAY: DC Defenders to Win Championship (+650)
We do not have to wait long after the Super Bowl, in fact just six days for more football. Saturday kickoff in the XFL and we are getting down on one future bet before opening weekend. DC Defenders at (+650) to win the XFL championship. Risk $100 to win $650.
A bit of a tricky handicap with a bunch of unknowns coming into the first season post-pandemic for the XFL. We are taking a fairly big long shot all things considered. DC going off as the second longest odds to win it all at most sportsbooks as I type. Remember only eight teams total, (compared to 32 in the NFL).
Likely the most talented QB room in the league, featuring Jordan Ta'amu, D'Eriq King and Eric Dungey. All of which made waves in their college football careers. JT has had some success in the “spring leagues” before and he was just named the starter week 1. A big attribute is having experience in this type of environment, plus possess the athletic ability to extend plays when chaos happens, usually a huge part of the equation in new football leagues.
Line play will be a large part of the success or lack there of and the Defenders look to be talented on both sides. 2021 first-team All-SEC offensive lineman Mike Maietti starting at center. The D Line has some familiar names, Andre Mintze at edge out of Vanderbilt, who had success with the Broncos in his rookie season (64 defensive snaps in 6 games). High motor rusher Jacob Panasiuk out of Michigan St. Plus, the former Texas A&M star, Anthony Hines who started as a freshman in College Station.
Taking a shot with the DC Defenders to win the 8 team XFL league in 2023. Reports are positive out of camp, we get the mobility and passing talent out of more than one QB on the roster. Also, backing solid projected offensive and defensive line play when compared to the competition. (+650) on DC to win- Let's cash!

Also, has put together six straight college basketball profitable seasons with one of the more impressive track records you will find in CBB. Drew uses his numbers background combined with his experience in sports and finance to get an edge in the betting markets. His financial background, love of numbers, and firm grasp of what it takes to be a successful sports bettor puts him in a great position for future success. "My focus on sports betting has always been to find a balance between being proactive maintaining a simple fundamental approach. The understanding of teams is paramount, but more important is having the ability to spot their ever-changing value before the betting markets catch on. Every sport, every season, there are plenty of teams that under- and overachieve based on market expectations. Spot a few of them and couple that with a solid, everyday handicapping approach, and suddenly you're sitting on some real profits." Martin is actively handicapping College Basketball and the XFL. (MLB available late March).
