Heading to Hilton Colosseum in Ames, Iowa for a big time Big 12 Conference battle where the total stands a bit too tall. Texas Tech travels to play Iowa State at 1pm PT nationally televised on CBS.
This will be only the third game the Red Raiders play without one of the best players in college basketball as JT Toppin is sidelined with an injury. Texas Tech's first two without their star went surprisingly well, winning and covering both contests. However, this is a big step up in class against one of the best teams in the nation. Iowa State has held each of the last 5 opponents to under 70 points, two under 60 points when playing at home.
I believe Texas Tech struggles offensively, which almost every team has playing in Ames. Iowa State is (15-0) at home mainly due to their defense.
