The PGA Tour and players head out to Long Island for one of the toughest tests in golf for this years' US Open at Shinnecock Hills. Sean is using Top 20/30 plays with both at plus money and is looking to cash an Outright Winner as well. Get all of Sean's pre-tournament plays for the US Open here!!

THE PLAY: Chris Gotterup Top 30 including ties (+100)

US Open

Top 30 including ties

Chris Gotterup (+100)

It looked like Chris Gotterup was going to have a special season after he won 2 of his first 3 tournaments on the year and while he has not kept up that type of form, he has been in form all season with only 1 missed cut and 10 Top 30 finishes within his 15 starts this year. Chris has been able to lean on his form off the tee while consistently gaining roughly 4 strokes to the field and he has gained strokes in 9 straight starts and gained strokes in all but 1 start this season on approach. Gotterup has limited experience on US Open course setups with just 2 career starts but he was able to make the cut in both tournaments with a T23 finish last year at Oakmont while bleeding strokes on the greens but gaining strokes in all other categories. Chris is putting better than he has within his career and he won the Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club last year, a golf course that has a similar statistical profile to Shinnecock.

Consultant Bio

Working at a country club a mile east of Del Mar Racetrack, Sean was introduced to horse racing and his passion for the sport took off. The puzzle of going through past performances and replays appealed to Sean and spent his time after work listening to respected handicappers to learn as much as he could. In his first season playing the NHC Tour, he qualified for the Championship by placing 2nd in the LRF Cares contest after turning his initial $250 bankroll into $3,640.40. In this year's Xpressbet Kentucky Derby contest, Sean finished 6th by flipping the $2,000 bankroll into $15,681.85 while also taking home a 2024 Pegasus World Cup Betting Challenge entry valued at $6,000.
