My name is Hakeem Profit. I’ve followed the NBA since the 1990s and have been betting professionally for more than nine years.

While the game continues to evolve, one thing remains constant: getting up for all 82 games is nearly impossible. The NBA schedule creates countless situations where teams have natural advantages or disadvantages, and identifying those spots is where we find value.

My approach is built around recognizing those opportunities, understanding the circumstances behind each matchup, and having the discipline to capitalize when the numbers support a play. We focus on making good bets and living with the results, knowing that long-term success comes from consistently putting ourselves in favorable positions.

Personally, the NBA is the sport where I feel most confident identifying an edge. I’ve finished with a winning record in 7 of the last 9 NBA seasons, utilizing both high-volume and selective betting approaches.

Over the years, I’ve learned an important lesson: the number of bets you make isn’t what matters. The quality of those bets is what separates long-term winners from everyone else.

When you identify a legitimate edge, you bet it. You don’t overthink it, and you don’t pass up opportunities simply because you’ve already made enough plays.
