THE PLAY: Canada Halftime/Fulltime (-150)

If you caught the Power 5 earlier this week, then you know I recommended this exact same wager on Canada in their first match of the Gold Cup (against Curacao). It took a little while for the Canadians to get on the board (27th minute) but they led 2-0 going into the half and 6-0 by the end of full time.

Canada has now won seven matches in a row (across all competitions) after leading at halftime. Honduras was an ideal opponent to make the halftime/fulltime bet against, because they have come from behind (when trailing at half) to win just ONCE in 2025.

Well, Curacao is even worse than Honduras. They didn't score in their opener (vs. El Salvador) and now have to deal with a Canadian side that has not conceded a 1H goal in any of its three competitive matches this month. Similar to Tuesday, I see Canada going up early and then going on to win.
