THE PLAY: St. Louis Cardinals -122 S Gray (RHP), J Misiorowski (RHP) Must Start
I successfully played against the Brewers yesterday. At the time, I noted the following: “With 6-foot-7 flame-thrower Jacob Misiorowski potentially making his major league debut at American Family Field tomorrow, the Brewers have something to look forward to.” Misiorowski, a big-time prospect who hits triple digits with his fastball, is indeed expected to start. That should make for an exciting day at the ballpark. It's a tough matchup for the home team though; Gray is 7-1 with a 3.35 ERA and 1.13 WHIP on the season and he's got a 13 ⅓ inning scoreless streak going. Over his past three starts, all of which were “quality,” he's recorded 20 K's against only one walk. Gray allowed just one run through seven innings the last time he pitched here. I expect Gray to outlast Misiorowski and the Cards to draw first blood in the important series.

At the time that I'm writing this, the over/under line for this fight is 2.5o -280 at Draft Kings. This tells us that the fight has a good chance of being decided by the judges. Loosa has never been finished in his professional career, showcasing his durability. On the other hand, Rowe has never won a fight by decision, relying heavily on knockouts or submissions. He's 0-4 when the fight goes the distance. The price has come down a little on Loosa, giving us some extra value. I expect him to come away with the victory.
