The Hornets play the third of five straight road games on the west coast tonight going against a Lakers team that has given up the most points per game to small forwards this season and over the last 15 days as well. With that we’re going to take Brandon Miller to go over 26.5 points + rebounds + assists tonight averaging nine assists + rebounds over his last six games. Sure, he’s only averaging 17.7 points in his last six but that does include a 28 point performance at OKC and it’s worth noting he’s shooting 43% from three-point range during that stretch with the Lakers allowing the ninth most three-pointers per game to small forwards this season. The Charlotte small forward has only faced the Lakers twice in his career but it’s worth noting he averaged 25.5 ppg in those contests. Miller’s usage rate has increased in each of his three season’s and with the Lakers sitting bottom ten in defensive efficiency, let’s take him to fill up the stat sheet tonight going over 26.5 points + rebounds + assists tonight.
