Analysis

2* Rotation #956: MLB Saturday 2* Philadelphia Phillies -175 vs San Francisco Giants @ 6:05 ET - I am going to keep riding the red hot Phillies. There is no reason to stop right now. Just as I mentioned yesterday, line value here because the Giants are certainly a respectable team and they have a pitcher with a low ERA on the mound for this one. As a result of market perception on SF and their pitcher here, the Phillies are offering solid line value in this one with sizzling hot Ranger Suarez on the mound. He has been on a superb run of success and in top notch form for many of his recent starts. The Phillies have won 7 of 8 games and 14 of last 17 games. Philadelphia has averaged 6 runs per game in their last 16 games. San Francisco has averaged 2.3 runs per game last 8 games. The Phillies have gone 16-4 this season against teams that currently have a losing record. The Giants have gone 4-9 this season against teams that currently have a winning record. Suarez had a 0.75 ERA in the month of April and has allowed just 1 earned run in 30 innings spanning his last 4 starts and he has been so dominant this season that he has allowed only 21 hits in 41 innings on the year. The Giants Keaton Winn has good numbers this season but his most recent road start was against a light-hitting Marlins team in Miami. Prior to that Winn did allow 5 earned runs in 10 innings in his other two road starts this season. Now Winn is on the road facing a solid Phillies lineup and with the Phillies having the pitching edge and the hot lineup edge right now I am looking for another home win. Yes, more of the same here. 2* PHILADELPHIA -175
