5% Cleveland Guardians (-138) over LA Angels — w/ Lively & Detmers — 5% up to (-145) — 

It has been a league wide trend this year that teams are bouncing back from big upset losses, especially when they are playing the same team, on the same site again immediately. Teams that are coming off a loss as a favorite of (-150) or more (like Cleveland) are 36-10 TY when it isn’t the start of a new series, but when you look at the teams performing at home and they are 29-6 (83%)!!

Cleveland has been impressive this year, as has Ben Lively, despite the Guardians going just 1-2 in his 3 starts. He has still only allowed 4 ERs in his 3 starts but the Guardians managed to drop 2 of those games and he is still looking for his first official win of the season. His 2.30 ERA has been too impressive for him not to pick up a win yet. Not only is he due, but the Guardians are in a good spot to turn around and bounce back. 

Cleveland has the edge at home against the Angels going 5-1 in the L6 meetings prior to yesterday’s game, and they have absolutely dominated LHP. Detmers has had his struggles already and Cleveland is 4th in the MLB hitting a combined .277 off of LHP! This is the 8th game they have played against a LHP and they are 6-1 so far in the F7 games!
