Fiorentina vs Spezia Betting Analysis
Fiorentina is the hottest team in Serie A and may be the hottest team in Europe right now. They have played ten straight games unbeaten in all competitions with nine wins and a draw.
Four matches came in the Europa Conference League in which Braga from Portugal is a very solid opponent. Sivasspor out of Turkey maybe not as much. But still, their run has been impressive.
Fiorentina On Fire
During that ten-match run they have allowed more than one goal just one time which came against Braga, but they also held AC Milan to one goal and beat them 2-1 while they are coming off a 1-0 win over the other Milan team, Inter, this past weekend. They kept six clean sheets in those ten matches.
Will Spezia Score?
Fiorentina is not an offensive juggernaut and does not push the issue once they get the lead, especially if they get a two-goal lead.
They did score three goals or more four times during this run, but three of those game in the Europa Conference matches while they did it just once in six Serie A matches, a 3-0 win over Verona.
For this match to go over the total, I feel like Fiorentina will have to do all the scoring as their defense has been so good, I’m not sure we will see Spezia get on the board here.

The visitors have been blanked in six of their last ten matches and are generating just 1.03 xG per 90 minutes and slightly less than that on the road at 0.95.
Their volume numbers are not good as they average just 2.7 shots on target away from home which ranks 18th in Serie A.
Spezia has created less than 1.0 xG in nine of 13 away matches this season. I’m fully expecting Fiorentina to do the same here and limit Spezia to very few chances on Saturday.
