The Mets lineup has been posting strong numbers against left-handed pitching as they rank 8th in wRC+ and 10th in ISO during the month of June.
The Cubs closer Daniel Palencia is on the shelf with a right arm strain and the Chicago pen will be exhausted after using multiple arms yesterday in a high scoring double header.
