Now Freeman gets another opportunity to feast on Randy Vasquez who he’s gone 5-9 (.556) against with three doubles and a free pass.

Vasquez just got hammered for 7 runs (4 ER) across only 3.1 innings of work in his most recent start against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers finished with 15 runs in that contest and Freeman went 3-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. The San Diego Padres do have an elite bullpen, but they haven’t performed well recently as they rank 16th in ERA (4.50) and 19th in WHIP (1.46) since June 1st.

Freeman has cleared this HRR line in 58% of his games on the season and he’s projected to bat third tonight in a stacked Dodgers lineup.
